Title: OCERA main features
Description: OCERA is an Open Source project which provides an integrated execution environment for embedded real-time applications . It is based on components and incorporates the latest tecniques for build embedded systems.
Document: ocera_basic.pdf [PDF] (89.9 KB ; 18/11/04)
Title: OCERA RTLinux-GPL
Description: The components developed and integrated in the OCERA RTLinux-GPL improve the compatibility of original RTLinux-GPL with the Real-Time POSIX.13 subset standard. OCERA contributions go beyond current POSIX standard and implement some POSIX draft proposals, which makes OCERA RTLinux-GPL one of the most technologically advanced RTOS.
Document: rtlinuxgpl.pdf [PDF] (81.5 KB ; 18/11/04)
Title: Stand Alone RTLinux
Description: Stand-Alone RTLinux (saRTL) is a Linux independent implementation of RTLinux which provides the execution environment based on POSIX for critical applications with a minimal executive.
Document: sartl.pdf [PDF] (86.7 KB ; 18/11/04)
Title: Degraded Mode Management Framework
Description: The Degraded Mode Management Framework offers an integrated set of tools and components to offer transparent management of dynamic reconfiguration of applications on detection of faulty situations.
Document: dmmf.pdf [PDF] (85.2 KB ; 18/11/04)
Title: FT Design Build Tool: FTbuilder
Description: FT builder has been designed to provide user support for the implementation of embedded real-time fault-tolerant applications. It permits: the specification of application real-time constraints, different possible application modes along with related transition conditions and code generation facilities.
Document: ftdtool.pdf [PDF] (110.4 KB ; 18/11/04)
Title: LPTracing and Metrics
Description: Light Weight Tracing is a reduced implementation of the POSIX Trace which permit to capture the traces of a embedded real-time operating system and the running applications.
Document: lptrace.pdf [PDF] (107.1 KB ; 18/11/04)
Title: Quality of Service
Description: The problem of finding a correct allocation of bandwidth to the different tasks is still to be considered as a tough problem. This problem is addressed in this software components and it essentially amounts to finding an appropriate allocation of resources to competing tasks. With the QoS OCERA components you can run in the same system several applications with different allocation policies: static, dynamic and with no allocation (background).
Document: qos.pdf [PDF] (92.3 KB ; 18/11/04)
Title: RTLGnat: Ada for OCERA RTLinux
Description: RTLGnat is a porting of the GNAT Ada Compiler and run-time system that enables the execution of concurrent Ada programs as Linux kernel modules. RTLGnat Layer (RTGL) is a new layer that allows for loading an Ada program as a kernel module thus giving support to the GNAT Runtime.
